Healthy Feet for Balance

Saturday, November 10 – 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

– Your feet are your connection to the ground. And just as when building a house, a strong foundation is required if we are to expect a solid frame. Come learn how you can move your feet differently to impact your entire body and improve your balance. Topics to be covered include heeled shoes, bunions, arches, insoles and more!

Runner’s of the Sage post-run Stretch

Tuesday, October 2 – 5:30 pm Run, 6:10 pm Stretch

I’ll be leading a yoga-style stretch after a 3 mile run along the Columbia River. We will be meeting for both the run and stretch at Columbia Point Marina Park near the boat launch. Run starts at 5:30 pm with the stretch to follow at approximately 6:10 pm. Pay what you can or provide a donation [$10 is suggested] for the guided yoga-stretch. On Wednesday, September 22 I’ll be presenting Hike Smarter, Hike Farther with REI. Get tips on how to take it easy on your joints while you’re out on the trail. Presentation will be at Kennewick’s Mid-Columbia Library on Union from 7:15-8:30pm.
